Taken in 2004 after arriving in Padstow.  The sun was blazing down and the boats just looked so nice against the bright blue water.

Solomon White German Shepherd

Solomon who’s getting on for 7 now was pictured here in 2004 sitting in his favourite position, on the sofa wrapped in his fury blanket.  He spotted something on the floor just as the sun came in through the window.  Luckily I had the trusty Olympus close to hand and click – photo for life.

Bay of St Ives Sunset

Another photo from our favorite beach house in Cornwall overlooking the Bay of St Ives.  I particularly like the contrast between the light on the horizon and the foreground - just gives the photo something extra I think.

As I’m sure you’ll workout as I build the site up, we love Cornwall.  This shot is from a beach house we often rent that overlooks the bay of St Ives.  Taken from the garden just before sunset.

Tickhill Duck Pond in Winter

We took the little one to feed the ducks at Tickhill Duck Pond and as we were leaving I couldn’t resist this shot.  I liked it so much, I made a clip of it for the websites header.

Edlington Pit Top in Winter

Out walking the dogs near the village I grew up in and decided to capture the winter sun reflecting over the frozen lake.  I particularly like how the bench stands out with its long shadow.
